What: Share interests and concerns on everyday parenting topics such as safety, feelings, behaviour, child development and helping yourself.

This is a FREE program but registration is required. Childminding is available.

PARENT TO PARENT GROUP

Where: Richmond Family Place, 8660 Ash Street (Map)
When: Monday 10:30-12:00pm
What: Come join us for some adult time. The Parent to Parent group is a parent-led program which provides an opportunity to meet other parents, share experiences, and learn some new skills. PARENT CONNECTIONS TRAINING

Where: Richmond Family Place, 8660 Ash Street (Map)
When: Wednesdays 10:00-12:00pm May 5-June 23
What: Parent Connections offers facilitator training to parents or caregivers who are raising children in the Richmond area, including an 8 week training program, practicum and facilitator support network. Topics covered include child growth and development, multiculturalism, first aid, books, music and arts. Childcare and transportation are provided.

GROWING TOGETHER - A Grandparenting in Canada Program

Where: Richmond Family Place (Map)
When:Wednesday 10:00 a.m. - 12.00 p.m. (South Asian Group)
           Thursday 9:30 a.m. - 11.30 a.m. (Chinese Group)
           Saturday 3:00 p.m. - 6.00 p.m. (Filipino Group)
           Note: These programs finish at the end of March
What: Richmond Multicultural Concerns Society presents groups focusing on settlement, grandparenting issues and English classes. Childminding provided.
